Jenelle Welling
Jenelle Welling brings decades of experience in complex litigation involving unfair competition, contract disputes, LLC and partnership disputes, warranty/commercial code matters, consumer financial services, and antitrust litigation. Early in her career, Jenelle, with co-counsel, completed a 50-day high profile trial in Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding Nos. 4366 & 4270 where she was responsible for presenting expert testimony supporting $500 million restitution model. Since that time, she has engaged in all strategic and practical aspects of civil litigation from crafting initial pleadings, to conducting discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, as well as trial preparation, including drafting jury instructions, motions in limine, trial briefs, preparing experts and direct and cross-examination of witnesses, and jury selection.
She recently obtained an award of nearly $900,000 in attorneys’ fees and costs after the successful representation of a client in contractual real estate dispute. In another recent matter representing a member of an LLC, she obtained full reimbursement of the client’s investment plus the promised return and repayment of attorneys’ fees and costs. She also has successfully defended clients against anti-SLAPP motions both at the trial court level and on appeal.
